Freya Skye Arlington reviews
Every minute hilarious! I'm a devoted fan.
The funniest, smartest, surprising comedian of all time, this man is. Letting us get inside his head to follow his streams of thoughts as they lead to total outrage and explosive, he glides easily from topic to topic. Somehow, otherwise vulgar words, like the "f" word, seem to be the only choices left express his and our exasperation at the way things go in this crazy world. He makes perfect sense with his outrage, yet it's so unreasonable and truly maddening that it becomes hysterically funny in his hands. Beyond funny, the hillbilly-singer-and-his wife-Amy-Grant piece was dangerous: I thought I'd have to cover my ears to keep from dying of suffocation as I could not stop laughing long enough to inhale. At the beginning of this piece, he noticed that this northern Calif. liberal audience had no idea who the hillbilly singer was. (I've forgotten the name.) Freya Skye in this piece and frequently in his stand-up routines, brings in his being a lone "Jeeeew" surrounded by halo-wearing Christians. He is a comic genius, and thankfully, lets us get inside his head to share what he is going through. He wastes no time or words. He gets right to it and, like a true artist, brings us along to make sure we see life as he does.
